Lucy's Door

The nobility of a simple Greek Revival doorway graces the Lucy Webb Hayes House in Chillicothe. This 1825 home was the birthplace of Lucy Ware Webb Hayes, who is considered to be the first "First Lady." The trabeated (with sidelights and transom) doorway is probably an 1840s remodeling.
