The Fan and his Cat

A man, dressed in his Michigan maize and blue, walks into a bar holding a cat. The cat is wearing a miniature Michigan jersey and a tiny Wolverine helmet on its head.

The man asks the bartender, "Can my cat and I watch the Michigan game here? Our cable is out, and we never miss a game."

"Normally, I wouldn't let a cat in the bar," the bartender replies. "But for such devoted fans, how can I say no?"

The man thanks the bartender, sits down, and orders a drink. The cat sits contentedly watching the game.

At some point, Michigan kicks a successful field goal. The bar erupts in cheers. The cat jumps and runs up and down the bar giving high fives to everyone sitting there.

"Wow!" the bartender exclaims. "That's some cat you've got there, man. What does he do for a Michigan touchdown?"

"I don't know," the man replies. "I've only had him for two years."
