Being a Good Role Model

Being a good role model means being the kind of person that good people want to be like. It involves:

• knowing the difference between right & wrong, and doing what's right
• behaving respectfully & respectably
• being trustworthy; never cheating
• caring - about yourself and others as well as your groups and programs
• being responsible
• being fair
• being a good citizen - doing your part
• having a good attitude

Being a good role model is character and ethics in action at all times! Being a good role model may be one of your most important responsibilities as a Camp Counselor.
