Under House Bill 12, as sent to the governor, concealed weapons will be barred from:

• Government-owned buildings
• Police stations, sheriff's offices, state prisons and jails
• Airport passenger terminals
• Institutions for the mentally ill or mentally retarded
• School safety zones
• Churches and other places of worship
• Licensed day care centers, including in-home family day care centers when children outside the family are present
• Any room or open-air area in which liquor is being dispensed
• Public and private college and university campuses unless the weapon is locked in a motor vehicle
• Private businesses in which the owner clearly posts a weapons ban at the entrance
