Welcome to
Post 62

Since 1919, Post 62 has been a leading advocate of veterans issues in South Central Ohio and an active partner in the development and growth of Chillicothe and Ross County.

This site is provided as a service to our members and their families, and as a forum for presenting issues relevant to all veterans.  Take some time to browse through our pages and drop us an  e-mail to let us know how we're doing.

For God and Country, Tim Velarde, Commander

Preamble to the Constitution

For God and Country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes: to uphold and defend the constitution of the United States of America; to maintain law and order; to foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism; to preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the great wars; to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community state and nation; to combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses; to make right the master of might; to promote peace and good will on earth; to safeguard and transmit to prosperity the principles of justice and democracy; to consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.
