The 2008 Buckeye Boys State Program will be held June 14 - 22 at Bowling Green State University. This is the premier American Legion Boys State Program in the nation and is a nine day "hands on" workshop in the principles and organization of Ohio government.
Post 62's Boys State interviews will take place on Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at Post 62, 53 West Main Street, Chillicothe, Ohio.
Following the Post interviews, any individual
selected as a nominee or an alternate will need to attend a Boys State
orientation meeting. Attendance at an
orientation session is MANDATORY.
This year’s orientations will be held at Ross
County American Legion Post 62 on Thursday, 05/01/08 at 7:00 pm and Portsmouth American
Legion Post 23, Thursday, 05/08/08 at 7:00 pm.
