You’re already part of a prestigious group that includes former U.S. Presidents, astronauts, and professional, hall of fame athletes.
You’ve been nominated to attend the American Legion’s Boys State, a proven leadership program that many colleges (including the U.S. Military Academies) and employers value in the resumes of their applicants.
Sponsored by the American Legion, Buckeye Boys State is a nine-day hands-on experience in the operation of the democratic form of government, the organization of political parties, and the relationship of one to the other in shaping Ohio government.
Buckeye Boys State is the largest Boys State program in the nation, providing 1,200 young men first hand experience in city, county, and state government through a non-partisan objective education approach. They also form friendships which will last a lifetime!
