American Legion Ross County Post 62

American Legion Ross County Post 62, 53 W. Main St., is sponsoring 11 local students who will be delegates in Buckeye Boys State, June 12-20, at Bowling Green State University.

The students are:

    American Legion Ross County Auxiliary Post 62 is sponsoring eight local students who will be delegates in Buckeye Girls State, June 13-19, at Ashland University.

    Megan Proehl, 17, junior, Chillicothe High School, daughter of Mark and Laine Proehl.

    Abby Bunstine, 17, junior, Chillicothe High School, daughter of Ed and Lynn Bunstine.

    Lora Barnhart, 17, junior, Chillicothe High School, daughter of John and Kathy Barnhart.

    Kelly Kern, 17, junior, Chillicothe High School, daughter of Rita and Kenneth Kern.

    American Legion Auxiliary Unit of Kingston Post 291 is sponsoring two local students who will be delegates at Buckeye Girls State.

    The students are:

    Maranda Watson, 16, Zane Trace High School, daughter of Tom and Amy Osborne and Joe and Martha Watson.

    Hayley Clairemont, 17, Zane Trace High School, daughter of Tim Clairemont and Sandy Lopez.

    American Legion Auxiliary Post 14

    Amy Bolles, 17, a student at Paint Valley High School, will be a delegate at Buckeye Girls State. American Legion Auxiliary Post 14, 105 W. Third St., Bainbridge, is sponsoring Bolles for this event. She is the daughter of Paul and Karen Bolles, of Chillicothe.

    Kacie Brown, 16, a student at Paint Valley High School, has been selected as Bolles' alternate as delegate for Buckeye Girls State. She is the daughter of Greg and Terri Brown, of Chillicothe.
